그룹 동방신기(사진)가 아시아 투어 중 한국, 대만, 말레이시아에 이어 네 번째로 방문한 태국에서 아시아 최고 그룹의 면모를 다시 한번 과시했다.

동방신기는 지난 15일과 16일 저녁, 이틀에 걸쳐 총 3만 여명의 관객을 동원하며 태국 방콕 임팩트 아레나에서 ‘동방신기 The 2nd ASIA TOUR CONCERT “O” in Bangkok’란 타이틀을 내걸고 공연을 펼쳤다. 2시간40분 동안 진행된 이번 공연 도중 58명의 소녀팬들이 실신, 대기 중이던 구급의료진이 투입되는 등 상당히 뜨거운 반응을 끌어냈다.

이번 공연의 현지 프로모터 관계자인 프라송 사장은 “작년에 이어 올해에도 동방신기는 태국에서 펼쳐진 해외 가수 공연 중 가장 많은 관객을 동원한 가수로 기록에 남게 됐다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 동방신기는 오는 19일 일본에서의 15번째 싱글 ’투게더(TOGETHER)’를 발매한다.

In Thailand where Dong bang shin gi has visited for Asia Tour after three previous concerts in Korea, Taiwan and Malaysia has once again showed off their image as Asia’s best pop group.

Dong bang shin gi held a concert for two days putting up a title, ’Dong bang shin gi, The 2nd Asia Tour Concert “O” in Bangkok’ in Impact Arena, Bangkok, Thailand on the 15th and 16th, and drew 30 thousand something audience to the show. During the performance for 2 hours and 40 minutes, 58 teenage fans fainted and emergency crews on standby came to rescue at the scene, receiving quite plumping reactions.

This tour’s regional promoter, president Prasong, stated, “Last year and followed by this year, Dong bang Shin gi set a record of bringing the biggest number of audience to a concert out of all foreign singers performed in Thailand.”

Meanwhile, Dong bang shin gi is planning to release a 15th single album, ‘Together’, in Japan on the 19th.
