B: Of course I knew that. Let’s get together at 7 and watch the soccer game. 당연히 알고 있지. 7시에 모여서 축구 보자.

A: Sounds perfect to me. Let’s have some beers while we watch the game. 좋아, 보면서 맥주도 마시자.

get together는 ‘모이다’라는 뜻이다. 그래서 Let’s get together는 우리말로 가볍게 ‘뭉치자’ 하는 의미에 해당하는 표현이 된다. ∼를 하러 모이다는 get together to + 동사 또는 get together for + 명사 형태로 쓸 수 있다.
