at the end of∼는 hallway, road 등 장소를 나타내는 명사와 함께 쓰여서 ‘∼의 맨 끝쪽에’ 위치한 것을 나타낸다. 예를 들어 It’s at the end of the hallway라고 말할 수 있다. at the end of∼는 시간 관련 표현을 만나면 ‘∼의 끝에, ∼의 마지막에’라는 시간 부사구가 되기도 하는데, I’ll see you at the end of this month(이번 달 말에 만나자) 같은 문장이 예가 된다.
